I manage to not post for 8 months

I ran a 5k and got 23:28 (new PR might I add)

I ran a Half Marathon. and rocked.

Alright, so its been a while but I'm back.

Here are some random thoughts:

March is a good time.

I have a friend who has a birthday tomorrow.

I made them an awesome cake.

Hopefully they won't check my blog in the next 6 hours.

I want to surprise them.

I'm still working on it.

It looks a lot better now. Don't worry.

Our new flock has started laying and those eggs are tiny, you may not realize this because i don't have a comparison. Also notice the white one is the smallest and most different because we have never had a white egg layer. Quite a shock to find that in a nesting box, let me tell ya~

This weekend's and last weekend's runs mean that I have run 10.04 miles. I ran the Jingle Bell run today and a 7.2 mile run last weekend. I am sure glad i have good Saucony running shoes! Her are them decorated for the Jingle Bell Run.

Fall City Fun Run!!

On Saturday, I ran the Fall City Days Fun Run! I won a 3rd place ribbon for my age group. I had to run 3.1 miles. My time was 28:13.

The Two Frightend Females and The Big Bad Bee

Today, my mom and I were listening to Harry Potter in moms room. We were relaxed until we herd this angry buzzing noise. We did not know what it was, so we continued listening. I was just licking my fugeical when mom let out a sound like"Whaaaa!!!" I looked around and she was staring at the window. There was an enormous bee buzzing loudly in the window. Mom hurried to get some perfume and I, being a complete weenie around bees fled from the room and closed the door behind me. I waited in the kitchen and then mom asked were I was. I came into the room and mom said that since i had ran away she had no idea where it had gone. We tiptoed into the room and listened. We heard it in the skylight. Mom got a feather duster and i was assigned the perfume.
Then the bee went flying out of the Sky light and went into the bathroom. the bathroom has alot of dark corners. So mom and i went looking for the bee. Well ok, mom looked for the bee. I was again a wimp. Then after mom had looked everywhere she found the bee just sitting on the ground. I spry of the perfume and the bee was done.YAY

We got 7 chicks. These are two of them. The gold one is a natural at singing so we named her Aretha Franklin! The others are first lady's, Elinor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Rosalyn Carter, Dolly Madison, and Ladybird Johnson.

I have just finished Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer! This 629 page book was one of the best books I ever read, some scary parts but it was good. I would recommend this book to 10+!

OHH! Saturday at last! this has been the longest week ever. It has brought bad weather to... wind and rain. i have not had a lot of sleep.

Phew! It was a windy and snowy night. Our yard gained at least two more inches of snow and a lot of branches last night. It looks like Irving Berlin's(creator of the song White Christmas)

Holly cookies are one of my favorite holiday cookies. They're easy to make and they taste wonderful! Most importantly they look like holly. It is always a good thing when a cookie fallows its name.

Snow Day

We have had three snow days so far this year and for good reason to! This is are grill in the middle of the snow storm. It does not look like we will be having anything that involves grilling until this clears up. Now the snow that is making our deck white is up to three inches at least and i am hoping we will get more! My hopes appear to be coming true for as I look outside the window I see five inches of snow.
